Engr. Benard Emeka Eme is a committed and vibrant self motivated inventor. His astuteness in innovation led to the acquisition of six patent right. His ingenuity in invention has also earned him awards from the WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ORGANISATION (WIPO) in Geneva as a visionary innovator of the year in Nigeria in 2021.

He was also the best awardee on invention and innovation competition by Presidential Standing Committee on Invention and Innovation (PSCII) Abuja in 2012. He also has an international Research Publication Award Certificate by African Journal of Engineering and Environment (AJOEER) in 2021.

His recognition in innovation started in his youth service days when he invented a sludge extractor from petroleum in NNPC. This earned the award of the best serving corps member of the year by National Youth Service Corps in Borno State in 1999. He was also given the best performing corps member award by NNPC, NAPIMS Borno State in that same year.

In 2022, he was appointed into the office of an Administrator in Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) Bayelsa State to head the Technology Innovation and Incubation Centre (TIIC).

Till today, he is still inventing and championing the course of innovation.
